Individual counselling and trauma therapy

My work is especially focused on trauma, identity, justice-doing and resilience, with particular expertise in single-incident and complex trauma, structural dissociation, and Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID).

  • Cross-cultural considerations in clinical practice.
  • LGBTQ+ affirming care from an ally’s perspective.

I have extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ communities, providing affirming, inclusive care that honours each person’s lived and living experience. Whether in individual sessions or group settings, I offer spaces rooted in presence, mutuality, and embodiment.

Clinical supervision, consultation and training

I provide supervision, consultation, and training to graduate-level interns, clinicians and front-line service providers. I see supervision as a collaborative process that helps therapists develop a deeper understanding of who they are in the therapeutic relationship. Based on the premise that when we know ourselves, the rest follows, I invite a self-reflective approach to supervision that creates space for self-examination, constructive self-critique, informed decision-making, responsible (self)-evaluation, and professional growth.

My background includes expertise in psycholegal documentation, particularly in the context of immigration proceedings. I approach this work with clinical precision, cultural humility, and a strong ethical foundation, ensuring that narratives of harm are translated into credible, compassionate, and professionally sound assessments.
